Goodnight Grandpa

We are all saddened to lose our gambling buddy, friend, and one-of-a-kind Grandpa, Chet Graber. For those of you that didn't know him, he was so funny with his one liners (usually dirty or off color) and loved to party. Even at 95,he always knew how much was in his poker bag and usually added to it when his Grandkids came up to play poker. He loved to hunt and only missed one opening day of deer season (when his youngest , Uncle Gary was born) a fact that Gary will never live down! Please pray for Grandma... who will miss him the most. We love you Grandpa.... the stories of you will be told for a long time!

We were actually with Bill and Barb when the call came in and so for missy it was i think a little more comforting being with them at that time. But i will definitely miss the hours and hours of cards that we would play.. usually euchre, "quarter a game, 50 cent a euchre" but lately poker and lots of it.

It's hard to believe that he is gone, after being around for as long as most of us can remember. Grandpa was the sunshine on a cloudy day. No matter how mad me and geoff were at ma and gary, grandpa could make us laugh. He could turn around a horrible situation and make some good come of it. I am so glad that my mom met gary, just to bring so many wonderful people in to my life including Grandpa who will be in my heart always, and grandma whom will be in my thoughts. Andrea and family (too many to name!)
